    FAQs

What is the optimum growing temperature?

Microgreens can be grown indoors all year round and temperature plays a major role in how quickly microgreens grow.

Generally, between 18–24 degrees celcius is optimal.

Below 12 degrees and the microgreens will struggle to germinate and above 25 degrees, it may get too hot and start "cooking" the seeds.

Do the microgreens re-grow once harvested?

Each growmat is single-use and will not re-grow once harvested. When you have finished a mat, you'll need to start a new seedmat.

Pod tip: you can throw the used mat into your garden and you'll soon find vegetables will start popping up from the slower growing seeds!

Can I use my own seeds?

Yes, you can absolutely use your own seeds with our micropod system!

If you prefer to grow your own seeds, you can simply purchase our growmat only refill packs here.

    Are your microgreen seeds organic?

Our locally sourced seed varieties are untreated and non-GMO, making them suitable for organic growers.
