Mild peppery, slightly spicy flavour.
Mizuna (aka Japanese Mustard) has a mild flavour. Use micro-mizuna as garnish for meat or raw fish dishes like sashimi. It can also be used as a milder substitute for mustard in micro salads and a great topping for pasta dishes, soups, stews and pizzas.
Rich in antioxidants, and high in vitamins K, A and C
Was given one as a gift last year and so purchased one as a gift recently. Love that it fits perfectly on my kitchen window sill. On hand and stylish.
new pods were set up - usually they are both full of vibe - 1 pod has hardly sprouted - hope it isnt going to be the same next time
my last lot all sprouted fully so hope its just a dud
We really enjoy sprouts but didn't like the plastic boxes they're sold in, in supermarkets. Micropod is the way to go!
I didn't get a great seedling strike, unfortunately, not many seeds on the mats, but have more, so hopefully better luck this time! It's an awesome idea, super handy to have in kitchen.
Am enjoying the first crop of mustard microgreens and they have an amzing flavour with a bit of heat ... perfect!
